What if a property doesn't accept OneApp?

Understanding property participation and your next steps

OneApp partners with properties across the US who refer their denied or conditionally approved applicants to us to support their lease. However, not all properties participate in our program.

If a property doesn't partner with OneApp, it simply means we can't support your lease at that specific location – but don't worry, there are still options!

Check if the Property Participates

If you're unsure whether a property accepts OneApp, ask the leasing office directly. We're always adding new property partners, so it never hurts to ask!

Find a Participating Property

If your current option doesn't accept OneApp, consider applying at one of our partner properties where we can support your lease. Use our Property Finder for a full list of properties that work with us.

Share OneApp With the Property

Some properties might not be familiar with OneApp. If they're open to learning more, send them our way! Leasing teams can visit our website to learn more and contact us to get started.

Explore Other Options

If a property doesn't accept OneApp and you don't meet their screening criteria without additional support, you may need to explore other options, such as:

  • Finding a different property that works with us.
  • Negotiating directly with the property to see if they have other approval options.
  • Asking a friend or family member to co-sign on your behalf.
