If a resident with OneApp has defaulted on their lease, you may be eligible to submit a reimbursement request for coverage against losses and damages up to 3x the base rent. Learn more about default protection.

To ensure a smooth process, here's what you'll need to meet the reimbursement requirements:
- Covered Lease Agreement: The lease must be covered under an active OneApp Approval Agreement at the time of default.
- Valid Default Reason: Reimbursements can only be filed for qualifying defaults. Learn more about default reasons.
- Required Documentation: When submitting a request, you'll be asked to provide documents that support the reason for the reimbursement. Learn more about required documentation.
- Timely Submission: Default reimbursements must be initiated within 30-days of the vacate date and completed within 30-days of the unit being re-rented or the lease expiration.
