Default Reimbursement Requirements
Everything you need to know before submitting a reimbursement request with OneApp
If a resident with OneApp has defaulted on their lease, you may be eligible to submit a reimbursement request for up to 3x the base rent. Learn more about what OneApp covers.
✅ To ensure a smooth process, here's what you'll need to meet the reimbursement requirements:
- Submit Within the Deadline: Default reimbursements must be started within 30-days of the vacate date and fully submitted within 30-days of the unit being re-rented (or the lease expiration date).
- Covered Lease Agreement: The lease must be covered under an active OneApp Approval Agreement at the time of default.
- Valid Default Reason: Reimbursements can only be filed after a default event has taken place. Learn more about eligible default reasons.
- Required Supporting Documentation: When submitting a request, you'll be asked to provide documents based on the reason for the reimbursement. Learn more about required documentation.
